Sundeck keeps an eye on Snowflake, monitoring for problematic queries, users and workloads and alerting you, your team, or the offender in your favorite tool
Query monitors can watch for live queries and notify you what is going on. Sign up for Sundeck and enable query monitors to watch for these problems.
If a user makes or mistake (or is malicious) Sundeck can let you know. You no longer need administrators watching your Snowflake to keep you safe.
Alerts can be configured to inform the specific user who submitted this query. This helps users learn better patterns and be informed when alternative tables may get them their answer faster.
Signing up for Sundeck is free and easy. Click here to do so now. All you need is information on how to connect to your Snowflake.
You can add the Slack app linked to your Sundeck account by clicking in the upper right corner of Sundeck and choosing "Add to Slack"
Configure one or more Query Monitors to identify and alert you on what is happening. You can send alerts to the author of the query, a Slack username or a Slack channel. Make sure to give Sundeck permission to post to any channels you want to target. Read more about query monitors here.
